A problem solver to her core, Jody brings her unique combination of technical expertise, operational knowledge, and managerial accounting to Krux. She has extensive experience in equipment design, manufacturing, operational reporting, and system implementation. All this in combination with her 15+ years of drilling experience have her perfectly poised to execute for Krux’s customers. Jody earned her Executive Master’s in Business Administration from Queen’s, her Bachelor’s Degree in Technology from Memorial University, and her Diploma in Computer-Aided Design and Drafting from SIAST Polytechnic.
Never one to sit still, Darla was drawn to the tech industry because there is always something new to learn and new challenges to overcome. She came to Krux armed with broad experience executing software and technology projects in varied industries across Canada. With an eye for detail and a drive for constant improvement, she delivers products with both excellent User Experience and optimized functionality. In addition to her Bachelor’s Degrees in both Engineering Physics and Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan, Darla also completed a Master’s from Schulich School of Business.
Jody brings her unique combination of technical and operational expertise to Krux with 15+ years of drilling experience. Jody earned her Executive Master's in Business Administration from Queen's, Bachelor's Degree in Technology from Memorial University, and her Diploma in Computer-Aided Design and Drafting from SIAST Polytechnic.
Mick has several decades of experience helping to build various Canadian oilfield service companies including Saxon Energy Services (as CEO), Precision Drilling (as SVP Business Development) and more recently at Calfrac Well Services (as CFO). He was recently a Managing Partner of PillarFour Capital, a Private Equity Fund focused on investments in the energy sector, targeting private technology companies with strong growth prospects. Mick is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Doug has 29 years of experience in equipment design, automation, sales, manufacturing and business development including acting as President and CEO of Rangeland Drilling Automation, Chief Technology Officer at ProStar Energy and VP Operations and Chief Engineer at Canrig Drilling Technology. Doug is a P.Eng. with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Michelle Carey is an accomplished Technology Executive, Board Member, Geologist, Geochemist, Environmental Hydrologist and is PhD accredited. She began her career in the Western Australian Goldfields region, as a geologist; before moving to Melbourne to complete her PhD. In the early 2000’s Michelle worked for a large consultancy group where she developed her drive for taking a strategic approach in balancing the environment, community, and project. Following a position at WMC, Michelle joined ioGlobal as their Geochemistry Manager and was soon promoted to the Chief Operating Officer. In 2012 ioGlobal was acquired by Imdex Limited where Michelle has held various Senior Leadership and Executive positions. She is currently the Chief of Product Management & Marketing, as well as a non-executive Board Member at Austmine (alternate) and Datarock.
